Not just Baltimore. Evidently the Purple Line is like $10 billion up from 5 billion. The politburo in from Takoma Park votes whatever their developer sugar parents want. Even over the vociferous opposition from residents of affected neighborhoods. Catch and release of criminals. Montgomery County just has more wealth to begin with so the squandering is not so noticeable.

We visited Baltimore this weekend for the first time in years. We used to go often. What once was a city in growth mode attracting residents, business and tourists is now a city in decline. Very sad to see this wasted potential.

It is mismanagement across the board coupled with no accountability and tolerance of bad behavior both on the streets and in government.

Will the citizens wake up and stop electing these corrupt losers who can’t manage their way out of a paper bag? We will see but not holding my breath.
